Happy new year!
Over the break, I was wishing for more time to work on my plans for 2022 amidst all of the holiday buzz. The universe heard me, exposed me to COVID and gave me five days of quarantine.
Be careful what you wish for.
This year, instead of setting goals for the year, I decided to try something new. Often, I write out my goals in January and then speed headlong into the year and look back at them sometime in December. So, this year, thanks to Tim Ferriss, I tried doing a post-mortem of the year. If you’d like to participate, the instructions are here.
My resolution this year, if any, is to remember that we are all on this planet for a finite amount of time, so let’s not waste it doing stuff we don’t want to do, being around people who drain us or engaging in mindless and petty pursuits.
Find the pockets of joy and just do more of that.
If I strive to make every day just 1% better than the day before, I will have improved my life 365% by year’s end.
Here’s to finding joy in 2022,
Rhea
PS: I just announced my dates for the 2022 Fundraising Accelerator. It’s bigger, badder and even more awesome than last year’s. Apply today as spots are limited to 30 people. I’m also offering an early bird discount for those who sign up for the next session before January 31. Get it!
