Well, it’s the new year, and I don’t know about you, but the stress levels are high. Lack of time, money, and staff can lead us to have a level of baseline stress that feels unpleasant at least—crippling at most.
It has to make you wonder: What is stress doing to your fundraising efforts?
Well, it’s not great news. (But, don’t worry, the good news is coming!)
Stress means you’re likely giving scarcity vibes when you interact with donors.
You’re operating in survival mode instead of executive mode
—scarcity rather than abundance
—trauma and fear rather than courage and creativity.
But the good news is this:
- It’s not your fault.
- You can fix it.
- You can make big asks and get BIG gifts.
🔑It all starts with retraining your brain and healing your state of mind.
The result is that you can free yourself from stress, disconnect from the aspects of fundraising that you can’t control, and begin operating from a sense of possibility and abundance.
And, believe me, donors can feel the difference.
Need proof?
It’s all part of a SPACE framework I created for my 9-week Fundraising Accelerator Program. (AKA the Big Asks Gifts Program. I’ve restructured it to provide cohorts with even more time [6 months], “space,” and personalized support to complete their training and make lasting changes. See more in the P.S.)
I’ve had 10 cohorts complete the mindset work and the rest of the SPACE framework in my Fundraising Accelerator program, the result is that people are regularly 4Xing, 10Xing, and 40Xing their initial investment. 🤯
(Psst… The “S” stands for State of Mind. ☝)
